Slovenia Wants Place in Narrower Band of Countries in Pact on Stability in Europe

Slovenia wishes to be placed in a narrower band of countries in the Pact on Stability in Europe, which will be discussed by the Ministerial Council of the European Union (EU) in Brussels at the end of this week. The wish was expressed by Lojze Peterle, Slovenian Foreign Minister, in a letter addressed to all EU foreign ministers and to the EU Commissioner for International Political Relations, Hans van den Broeck.
