Hunters Urge for Protection of Brown Bear

Ljubljana, 17 November - SLOVENIA/BROWN/BEAR
The Hunters' Association of Slovenia (LZS) has recently announced its members will not respect a decree issued by the agriculture minister allowing for the kill of 71 brown bears. Instead, Slovene hunters will make sure that the number of killed brown bears, togehter with those dying of natural causes will not exceed 50 in total.
