Merck Will Not Take Legal Action against Krka in the U.S.

Slovene pharmaceutical company Krka and its partner Schein Pharmaceutical from New Yersey obtained assurances from the company Merck, saying it will not take legal action against them in connection with two patents that protect Merck's high blood pressure medicine Vasotec. Judge John Martin of New York district court thereupon stopped the legal action that Krka and Schein started against Merck, Krka reported on Thursday.
