Economic Trends: Directors Less Optimistic

Higher domestic demand was of a fully seasonal nature, while domestic spending keeps following a downward trend. Following a brief surplus in July, trade deficit remains considerable although it has grown at a slower pace than in the first half of the year. Forecasted economic growth in major trade partners is higher than last year and orders have remained solid, but optimism among company directors is slowly eroding, analysts of the Economic Institute at the Faculty of Law reported in the latest issue of the Economic Trends bulletin.
