Mankoc Wins Historic Victory

Slovenia's swimmer Peter Mankoc has taken first place in the 100 m medley at the World Cup in Canada's Edmonton, thus winning Slovenia its first men's victory at a World Cup. With a time of 55.40 he was 0.04 seconds short of his own national break, which made him come fourth in short course at last year's World Cup in Hong Kong. This year's time of his, however, is the third best world's result.
