Parliamentary Parties Fail to Agree on Border Agreement with Croatia
Ljubljana, 23 November - Parliamentary parties on Tuesday again failed to harmonise their views on the Slovene-Croatian agreement on co-operation and transport in border regions. One of the ruling coalition parties, the Slovene People's Party (SLS), and opposition parties of Social Democrats (SDS) and Christian Democrats (SKD) oppose the ratification of the agreement, which has already been endorsed by the Croatian parliament, as they believe that it prejudges the course of the Slovene-Croatian border.
