Tourism Share in Slovenia's GDP Underestimated

Ljubljana, 24 November - TOURISM/GDP
Estimates that the share of tourism in the Slovene economy totals three to five percent are incorrect, as these assessments only include data about the share of hotel and catering industries in the gross domestic product (GDP), president of the National Tourist Association Janez Sirse said at a press conference on Wednesday. Tourism represents as much as 9.1 percent of the Slovene economy, he added.
