Tomaz: EU Membership to Cause Panic

Indicators show that Slovenia will gain EU and EMU membership in the near run, but this may have severe consequences says Chairman of Abanka management Aljosa Tomaz. Tomaz told the financial paper Finance that EU membership will result in banks attempting to reach mutual co-operation, using a rapid and somewhat panic-stricken approach in the process. However, he did not wish to comment in detail about a linkage between the Abanka and the SKB Bank.
