SIT 72 Billion Needed to Improve Flood Safety

Slovenia earmarked around SIT 2 billion (DM 20 million) between 1998 and 1999 for water management, said Slovene Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Pavel Gantar at a news conference on Wednesday, presenting the report on the implementation of the act earmarking funds for the damage caused by storms, floods and landslides.
