Tibet China's Internal Affair for Slovenia
Ljubljana, 24 November - SLOVENIA/CHINA/TIBET/FRLEC
The Analyses, the Foreign Ministry's internal bulletin, in its latest issue published a report marked confidantial about Foreign Minister Boris Frlec's talks with his Chinese counterpart Tang during a recent visit to China. According to the report, the ministers discussed Tibet among other things, with Tang expressing his thanks to Slovenia for not accepting the visit by Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama, last year. Frlec in turn pledged Slovenia would treat Tibet as China's internal matter, stressing Ljubljana never co-sponsored human rights resolutions on China because it believes Beijing is doing what it considers best for the country, POP TV reported.
