Seminar on Societies in Conflict Opens at Bled

Bled, 26 November - A two-day seminar on societies in conflict and the role of law and democracy in their resolution has begun at the lake-side resort of Bled on Friday. Organised by Slovenia's Foreign Ministry in co-operation with the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission), the meeting will first set out the situation in individual countries in conflict, and proceed to discuss the role of international institutions in the settlements of the conflicts on the second day.
