Lek Hopes to Buy Polish Company Polfa Tarchomin

Ljubljana, 26 November - COMPANIES/LEK/POLFATARCHOMIN
Lek has made a bid to buy a take in the state-owned Polish company Polfa Tarchomin, according to a report published by Finance. Apart from the Slovene pharmaceuticals producer, a bid has also been made by Prokom of Poland. The decision on Polfa's buyer is expected to be made by the Polish Finance Ministry by the end of the year, by which time the state will have made the decision on the size of the share it wants to sell.
