Slovene Ironworks Restructuring Getting on Successfully

Slovene Ironworks increased output of cast steel by 1.2 percent in the first nine months of 1999 y/y. While the group reported 584 million tolars (DM 5.8m) of losses, struggling with deteriorating conditions in global markets, it has successfully continued the restructuring process, chairman of the board Matic Tasic told a news conference this week.
