A New Coalition to Carry On where Demos Left Off

Ljubljana, 27 November - DEMOS/ANNIVERSARY
Ten years ago Democratic Opposition of Slovenia (Demos) set itself two major goals: to make Slovenia a sovereign and independent country free of the Communist regime, and to make it a normal country according to the European model. Today, when basic problems of the Slovene nation are not being solved, we must again join forces and start talks for a joint action in parliamentary elections next year, Joze Pucnik, a former Demos president, said at an academy marking the coalition's tenth anniversary on Saturday evening.
