Motorway Toll Goes Up

Following a recent government decision, the motorway toll will rise by 9.9 percent on average from Wednesday, 1 December. The collected toll is used for maintenance work and the construction of new motorways in Slovenia. The charge for the use of the international tunnel on the border with Austria, Karavanke Tunnel, remains unchanged: SIT 1,300 (DM 13) for first class vehicles, SIT 1,950 for second and third class, SIT 2,600 for fourth and SIT 4,620 for fifth).
