Slovenia Completes Its Presidency over UN Security Council
New York, 30 November - UN/SC/SLOVENIA/PRESIDENCY
Slovenia, which became a non-permanent member of the Security Council on 1 January 1998, will complete its one-month presidency over the SC today. This has been Slovenia's second presidency of the SC during its two-year non-permanent membership of the SC which expires at the end of 1999. The country's first mandate as the head of the SC was in August 1998.
