EU Socio-Political Standards May Not be Superior to Slovene

"EU membership and the adoption of the acquis can not lead to the adaptation of minimum standards, meaning the abolition of rights which we had or have on a high standard in Slovenia" stated the Government Office for Women's Issues director, Vera Kozmik, at Tuesday's round table meeting. The theme of the meeting was named "The EU - Slovenia's Challenge, Opportunity or Alternative" and was prepared by the Peace Institute and held in the spaces of the Slovene Parliament.
