Gaspari Discusses Economy Measures at the Slovene Business Conference

Slovenia could economise by reducing the number of ministries, said Slovene Finance Minister Mitja Gaspari, adding it would be more practical to allocate funds according to individual areas rather than ministries. Gaspari, who attended a round table discussion at the first Slovene business conference in the Slovene seaside resort of Portoroz on Thursday, also stressed the need to increase indirect taxation and draw up a new act on income tax and profit, which would symplify the tax system, reduce income tax rates and abolish selective tax relief.
