End of talks on associate membership between Slovenia and EU
Ljubljana, 8 December - Two days of preparatory talks between the delegations of the Republic of Slovenia and the EU Commission ended on Wednesday. The talks focussed upon an agreement on Slovenian associate membership of the EU. At a press conference, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ignac Golob, said that the talks had shown that "the EU is interested in Slovenia" and vice versa.
