Conference on Level Crossing Safety
Maribor, 8 December - LEVEL/CROSSING/SAFETY
There are 1027 level crossings on Slovene railways, but only 736 are protected with road signals, which does not met the safety requirements. As many as 42 accidents occurred on level crossings in 1998, which resulted in 13 death and 14 injured, was pointed out at the international scientific conference on level crossing safety, organised by the society for business logistics in Maribor, northeastern Slovenia.
