Parliamentary Speaker Leaves for Prague
Ljubljana, 9 December - SLOVENIA/CZECH/REPUBLIC/VISIT
Speaker of the Slovene Parliament Janez Podobnik with a delegation has left for a two-day working visit to the Czech Republic. Meetings with the Czech counterpart Vaclav Klaus and Vice-President of the KDU-CSL party Ciril Svoboda will take place on Thursday, to be followed by the reception hosted by President Vaclav Havel on Friday. After having lunch with Slovene businessmen in the Czech Republic, Podobnik is meeting with Czech Prime Minister Milos Zeman. A dinner with the parliamentary group of friendship with Slovenia will also take place today.
