Exports and Imports Drop in the First Ten Months
Ljubljana, 9 December - Slovenia's exports dropped by 5.6 percent to US$ 7.05 billion and imports by 1.7 percent to US$ 8.16 billion in the first ten months of the year over the same period in 1998. The deficit amounted to US$ 1.11 billion and the export/import ratio stood at 86.4 percent, the National Statistical Office reported.
