Slovene Language Discussed at Conference
Ljubljana, 9 December - CONFERENCE/SLOVENE/LANGUAGE
A three-day conference dealing with the research of Slovene language, literature and culture from a historical perspective has began at the University of Ljubljana. Around 20 Slovene experts and 50 from 18 other countries are taking part in it. By organizing this event, the department for Slavic languages and literatures of the Ljubljana Faculty of Arts will mark 80 years since Slavic languages started being taught at the university and 150 years since the department for Slavic philology was set up at the Vienna University.
