Slovene Export Corporation To Have More Money for Exports Insurance
Ljubljana, 10 December - The amendments to the act on the Slovene Export Corporation (SID) take effect on Friday, allowing for an increase in SID reserves in order to fund even riskier export deals. The changes allow the state to start selling its 91-percent stake in the corporation and use to money for the SID reserve fund, whose main source is currently the funds obtained from privatised publicly-owned property.
