Kranjska gora Awaiting Low Temperatures
Ljubljana, 11 December - SKIING/WORLD/CUP/KRANJSKA/GORA
Despite a shortage of show, the organisers of the 39th World Cup slalom in Slovenia's Kranjska gora claim to be well prepared for this year's race scheduled for Tuesday, 21 December. The slopes might however need artificial snow, for which they are prepared as well, but still awaiting low temperatures, the organisers told the press. Currently, 50 percent of the needed artificial snow has been secured, with the remaining half to be ready at the beginning of next week. Should that not be possible, the slalom might be called off.
