955 Different Media Compete in the Slovene Market

The Slovene media market comprises 955 different media, 573 of which are printed mass media. Since 1990, as many as 530 new media have emerged in Slovenia, with the rate of 60 media per year in the period between 1992 and 1996. In 1999, as many as 43 new media were set up, stressed the manager of the Media Research Institute Mediana, Janja Bozic Marolt, presenting a survey of the Slovene media market on Wednesday.
