Foreigners to Find Jobs Easier in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 16 December - GOVERNMENT/STAFF/LABOUR/MARKET
The bill on the employment of foreigners was prepared by the government for first parliamentary reading on Thursday. This fresh piece of legislation will enable the state to deal with the situation in the labour market in a more flexible manner; foreigners will be able to obtain three different types of working permits. Besides, the government will set a yearly quota of foreign labour force to be admitted to the country in line with migration and population trends. However, the number will not exceed eight percent of Slovenia's labour force.
