Austrians Better Informed about Radiation in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 20 December - SLOVENIA/AUSTRIA/N-PLANT/SAFETY
The Slovene Board for Nuclear Safety, with the help from Austria, set up last week a new station for monitoring radiation levels. This station differs from the two stations at the nuclear reactor centre in Ljubljana and at the nuclear power plant in Krsko, as it enables the sending of information to Vienna. The Austrian side donated US$ 120 millions for the station, which will be officially opened in January.
