Port of Koper Successful, GLS Project Unfinished

This year the Port of Koper transhipped 8.3 million tonnes of cargo, which easily exceeds the expected transshipment of 8.08 million tonnes. Even so, the effort could not beat last year's record of 8.65 million tonnes. The cause for this, according to the chairman of the Port, Bruno Korelic, who spoke at Tuesday's press conference, is a recession in the black metal industry within the EU, as well as a bad year in crops.
