Government Cancels Talks with Licensee for Sava Hydro Electric Plants
Ljubljana, 23 December - GOVERNMENT/POWER/PLANTS/CONCESSION
The government decided not to prolong the order to choose the licensee for the building of hydro electric plants on the river Sava after discussing the report on its negotiating team's talks with the Slovene-Austrian venture Sava, d.o.o.. The government established that the conditions for further talks are not met as the company failed to offer a price of electricity low enough as to be acceptable for the government (Sava's final offer was SIT 9 per kWh).
