Payment System to Function Normally on Monday
Ljubljana, 1 January - COMPUTER/SYSTEMS/Y2K
Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), the three largest Slovene banks (NLB, NKBM and SKB) and the Agency for payment circulation (APP) have all successfully entered the year 2000. The ATM system worked the whole time, except for two fall-outs which were not caused by the Y2K bug. The banks will, on Monday, once again open their doors and offer all banking services which were scaled down during the last few days of 1999.
