Delo: Old Age Should not be a Problem

People older than 65 years of age represent almost 13 percent of the entire Slovene population. Owing to a low birth rate, Slovenia reached a demographic threshold where the number of deaths exceeds the number of births. Scientists thus predict that in twenty years the country will be faced with 19 percent of elderly population, which means a lot of concern as well as unexploited opportunities, Delo writes on Monday.
