1999 Electrical Usage Up 0.7 Percent

Slovenia used 948 million kiloWatt hours of electrical energy in December 1999, which represents a 1.2 percent increase as compared to December 1998 and is 5.5 percent higher than was expected. Usage increased both by direct buyers as well as by distribution buyers. Annual results for 1999 indicate that electricity usage continues to rise in Slovenia, and that it increased by 0.7 percent in 1999 as compared to 1998.
