Brussels to Decide on Meat Embargo against Slovenia Later This Month

Brussels, 11 January - SLOVENIA/EU/MEAT/EMBARGO
The Standing Veterinary Committee is expected to discuss the European Commission's opinion concerning the meat embargo against Slovenia at its session on 25 or 26 January, sources in Brussels said on Tuesday. According to the sources, the Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) mission which visited the Slovene Veterinary Office (VURS) and Slovene meat establishments last December is not late in writing the report on its findings.
