Tuerk: Slovenia's Successful Term in the Security Council

As a member of the UN Security Council Slovenia made good use of all possibilities and put forward many suggestions regarding issues that go beyond national interests, former Slovene Ambassador to the UN Danilo Tuerk, who has been named assistant secretary general by the UN Secretary General Kofi Anan, said in an interview for the Slovene daily Dnevnik published on Saturday.
