Slovenia Records a Drop in Trade With the EU

Ljubljana, 18 January - Slovenia's exports to the EU member states in the first eleven months of 1999 amounted to about US$ 5.2 billion, which marks a drop of five percent over the same period in 1998. Imports from the 15-nation bloc decreased by 2.7 percent to US$ 6.24 billion in the period, the National Statistical Office said in a preliminary report.
