Textile Industry to Get Funds from the Budget

Ljubljana, 18 January - TEXTILE/INDUSTRY/SUBSIDIES
The Slovene textile industry has welcomed a government programme of its adjustment to the EU's internal market rules which would be carried out in the period from 2000 to 2003. Under the programme, the textile industry will receive SIT 1.135 billion from the budget in 2000, which will mainly go to improve marketing strategies, technology and human resources, but also to carry out various pilot projects designed to upgrade the production.
