Police Apprehend 79 Illegal Immigrants

Murska Sobota, 23 January - BORDER/ILLEGAL/IMMIGRANTS
On Saturday night Slovene authorities apprehended 79 foreigners who illegally entered the country. All 79 were apprehended in the North-East of Slovenia; police from Ljutomer apprehended eight Iranians and six Turkish nationals, police from Murska Sobota apprehended 40 Chinese nationals and two Moldovians, while police in Lendava apprehended 13 Sierra Leone nationals, five Bangladesh nationals, four Jordanians and an Iranian national. The number of Iranians increased by one at the Murska Sobota hospital where a woman gave birth, it was reported from the operational communication centre in Murska Sobota.
