The Slovene Government increased funds it will earmark to fill in the privatisation gap by SIT 1.6 billion (euro 8.12 million), after deciding to reduce funds for the electricity distribution sector and increase those for the power production sector. The total value of state funds stands at SIT 58.5 billion (euro 297 million), of which SIT 2.9 billion (euro 14.7 million) will go to the First Pension Fund and SIT 55.6 billion (euro 282 million) to authorised investment companies, State Secretary for Privatisation Edo Pirkmajer told the press after Thursday's government session.
