Movement on the Right?

The past week has seen intensive talks between leaders of the three 'spring' parties (SLS, SDS and SKD) concerning a possible move to unite on the right. On Sunday night the leaders of the three parties; Marjan Podobnik (SLS), Janez Jansa (SDS) and Lojze Peterle (SKD) met behind closed doors. They did not wish to comment on the theme of their meeting "until the matters are resolved", however, they all assesed their talks as successfull and stressed that they would continue. Marjan Podobnik and Lojze Peterle, discussed the work that has already been completed regarding the merger of the Slovene Peoples' Party (SLS) and the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD).
