Seminar on Slovene Market Control Ends

Slovenia, like all other candidate countries, will have to harmonise its legislation on market control with that of the European Union. This process will be gradual because Slovenia must harmonise not only its legislation but also its infrastructure; and it is this change in infrastructure which is the harder of the two. This was the opinion expressed by a representative of the European Commission, Erik Hansson, at Tuesday's press conference following the completion of a two-day seminar and a workshop on the control of markets in Slovenia. The two-day seminar was prepared by the Ministry of Economic Relations and Development (MEOR).
