EU Veterinary Committee Decides Against Embargo on Slovene Meat

Brussels/Ljubljana, 25 January - EU/SLOVENIA/MEAT
The EU Veterinary Committee recalled the decision to impose an embargo on Slovene meat in an unanimous vote on Tuesday. In accordance with the opinion expressed by veterinary experts of the member states, Brussels will pass the final decision to withdraw the embargo that was to take effect on 1 February by Friday or Monday at latest, the European Commission said.
