Slovene Railways Fail to Meet 1999 Aims

Ljubljana, 26 January - TRANSPORTATION/SLOVENE/RAILWAYS
Despite an increase in internal traffic the Slovene Railways could not fulfill the planned volume of operations for 1999. They transported 13.7 million passengers in 1999 in both internal and international traffic, which represents a 0.8 percent decrease and made 627 million passenger kilometers, a drop of 2.8 percent.
