Candidates' Viewpoints on EU Institutions Expected Before 14 February

Portugal's presidency of the European Union is expecting viewpoints before 14 February from the candidate countries, concerning the renewal of joint institutions in light of expansion. Portugal's Foreign Minister wrote to the candidate countries at the beginning of the year asking them for their opinions, said Portugal's non-resident Ambassador to Slovenia, Joao Rosa La, who visited Slovenia on Wednesday. During his visit he also presented Portugal's presidency of the European Union and met with Ambassadors from EU countries in Slovenia.
