Delo: "Meek Haider" is a Controversy

The leader of the Austrian People's Party Wolfgang Schuessel is confident that he has done a good job when he offered Haider a chance to take part in the government. Now they should get some fresh air in the suffocating consensus democracy, show aspects of a new style of governing and write everything anew. The arguments are sound considering justified criticism on account of the worn-out Austrian political elite. It is, however, impossible to understand why the extreme, at times bluntly racist and so far anti-European party should help Schuessel to open doors and windows as well as help him make the people like him, Delo states in Thursday's issue.
