Slovene Stage Production Opens Festival Pandora 2000
Vienna, 1 February - FESTIVAL/PANDORA2000
A Slovene production of Peter Handke's Kaspar will open an international festival of female creativity, Pandora 2000, in Vienna on Tuesday evening. Produced by the Ljubljana Cankarjev dom, the show was brought to life in 1998 by British director Anna Furse in co-operation with a team of Slovene artists. Furse staged Handke's text as an encounter between Kaspar (Polona Vetrih) and his "teachers" (Zeljko Hrs, Alojz Svete).
