Slovenes in Italy Criticize Insufficient Reporting on Their Problems in Slovene Media
Trieste, 1 February - A delegation of the Slovene Government Media and Information Office led by Director Zdenka Jagarinec had a meeting at Slovenia's Trieste Consulate with representatives of both umbrella organisations of the Slovene ethnic minority in Italy. Rudi Pavsic of the Slovene Cultural and Economic Association (SKGZ) and Sergij Pahor of the Council of Slovene Organisations (SSO) outlined the problems the minority is faced with and stressed that the minority issues are not sufficiently covered in the Slovene national media.
