The 300th anniversary of the first Slovenian Academy of Science

Ljubljana, 15 December - SLOVENIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND ARTS (SAZU)/ ANNIVERSARY/OPEROSORUM
Slovene academicians today celebrated the 300th anniversary of the first Academy of Science in Carniola - the Academia Operosorum. The festivities were attended by the President of the Republic, Milan Kučan, the Archbishop of Ljubljana, Alojzij Šuštar and several ministers and diplomats.
