SRD Supervisory Board Confirms Financial Construction of the TAM Purchase

Ljubljana, 2 February - The members of the new supervisory board of the Slovene Development Corporation (SRD) confirmed the state financial report for 1998, discussed activity concerning the purchase of TAM in bankruptcy, passed a resolution on the sale of certain companies and reviewed a list of companies which are suitable for sale. The supervisory board will also propose to the government the discharge of Matjaz Lukac from the position of a member of SRD management as he has found a new job, said the chairman of the SRS supervisory board, Boris Sustar.
