Podbregar Receives Chief of French Armed Forces

Ljubljana, 2 February - The chief of the Slovene armed forces, liuetenant general Iztok Podbregar, welcomed the chief of the French armed forces, Jean-Pierre Kelche, who arrived on a three-day visit with his delegation on Wednesday. Podbregar presented development and reorganisation of the Slovene Army and its role in international operations to the guest, reported the Ministry of Defence. The generals then reviewed current bilateral co-operation in defence and agreed that there are possibilities for further strengthening of ties in this field.
